Repost due to screwy structure. The thoughts of a demon after it's managed to take over it's host's body. I didn't draw from any specific religious tradition, but I did rip the first two lines off from an 18th century prayer.

This was an experiment for me, and I may very well remove it later. 'Horror' isn't technically the right category but it's the closest, I think. I can't really give an accurate summary because the summary would make the poem seem more grotesque than it is

I don't know how to describe this. I was going for a demented lullaby style of thing and I'm not certain I succeeded. I think I got 'demented' but 'lullaby' eluded me....
