| James Jago 2004-09-20 ch 1, | All I can say is that anybody willing to dress as Batman and scale Buckingham Palace should under no circumstances whatsoever be left in charge of small children! |
| Guin (who can't be bothered... 2004-09-15 ch 1, | quite right, and about the impartieal law system thing, it is important to rremeber a jury is not impartial thay are only human alas. they can be swayed, and isn't it easier to be persuaded by a weeping mother than by a stern faced (sometimes) father? anyway, a relevant essay, but I have to agree that some of the stunts they have performed, whilst funny were not their brigtest or safest ideas. |
| Corosive Frog 2004-09-15 ch 1, | I really liked that essay because its one of the rare texts I've had the chance to read that questions a certain kind of feminism without being angst-ridden and as hateful towards women as radical feminists are towards men. you're not an extremist and that makes your point a thousand times more credible to me than those that are like"go to hell, you stupid **!" In certain domains, womens rights and the perception of the woman still have to advance but it's time for the society to realize that it's not because a human being has breasts and no ** that that human being is a good parent. I guess you can say I'm a feminist. So much attention has been given to motherhood, but so few to fatherhood, like it didn't exist, like it was just about giving sperm, hitting the road and giving money. (for the first two parts, like it happens with animals) Feminists have made everything to crush the gender stereotypes...that didn't suit them. to old cliché of the poor little thing(woman)-agressor(man)becomes stronger and stronger and stronger. Incest comited by the mother, sexaul abuse commited by a woman, on a girl or boy, mental abuse y mother or a girlfriend, It's all stuff that women can do-too. they can make their son or boyfriend suffer too, but pratically no one gives a damn. |
| Retlor 2004-09-15 ch 1, | That was an excellant essay which highlighted the plight through which many fathers go. However, although they were right in this case, avoid using anything from the 'Daily Mail.' They are not paragons of truth. |
