What're we going to do now?" Nashia asked as she and Nakira walked away, oblivious to the rapidly filling parking lot behind them.

"I dunno," Nakira replied, "but I'm hungry,"

"Well," Nashia reasoned, "It's a Friday night, so there must be some kind of concert or party going on here,"

"Lets' go downtown and check it out then," Nakira urged.

The pair began walking in the general direction of downtown Victoria.

Standing in the "guests" line at the high school, Myndi and Sara were getting many strange looks, to which they just stared back, unblinking.

When they finally reached the front of the line, the disgustingly cheery administration member gave them an iffy look. Immediately, she discarded it, "Hello, what school are you from?"

"We don't go to school," Sara replied monotonously.

"Okay...may I see your tickets then?" she asked, he attitude slipping a notch.

"We don't have tickets," Myndi said in the same even tone.

"Well I'm sorry, but you can't come in unless you have a ticket," the woman said sternly.

After a moment of silence, Myndi dropped $50 bill on the desk.

The woman stared at the money for a second before holding out her arm, "Welcome to Esquimalt High School, please enjoy your visit!"

"Thank you," Myndi said, her and Sara sweeping past into the gym.

Nakira and Nashia wandered along a main street in downtown Victoria, scanning light poles for brightly colored flyers.

"Oooh, oooh, oooh!" Nashia said, darting forward to a telephone pole plastered with neon adverts.

Nakira walked behind her in a much more leisurely pace, "What've you found now?"

"There's a rock concert tonight, 3 Days Grace at the Upstairs Cabaret, whatever the hell that is," Nashia replied.

"Rock concerts are always the best," Nakira commented.

The two took note of the address and continued down the road, looking at all the stores.
