It had started as a simple argument, Whisper had brought up the fact that Becca was changing, but she hadn\'t believed her. For a few minutes they argued, until, in a fit of rage, Becca attacked, and being at the time more powerful, had nearly beaten Whisper to a crisp within seconds.

It was Whispers last stand that brought about the change, their powers merged and enveloped her and she disappeared.

A few moments later, after Becca begun to have a panic attack thinking she had killed her oldest and closest friend, Whisper reappeared.

She looked a little different, her hair was longer and she had strange wings, but it was her. Becca rejoiced and they made up, forgetting the whole episode.

From that point on, Whisper was a different woman; she was slightly more reclusive and seemed to have a precognitive sense of the situations that arose.

No-one really noticed she was a year older, nor that she was a little depressed, as she never talked about what had happened to her in those few minutes after Beccas attack.
