Tiger Stripes

Looking at myself, inner turmoil increasing

Coming to the realization that I’m lost

Grasping my only outlet to the pain within

Crying for the pathetic whore I am

Cursing myself for my egoism,

I draw my first stripes

Manifesting within me is a terrible rage

Screaming to be viciously released

Knowing that no one deserves to be hurt but me

Crying out silently for help from anyone

Finding no one is there but me,

I draw my second stripes

Hating the weaknesses I have

Despising my feeble attempts to escape

Bruising myself to stop the gruesome desire

Failing to quench the demonic thirst

Surrendering to blade of damnation

I draw my third stripes

Loving the pain that burns through my body

Letting loose the scarlet flood

Losing all sense of reality but the blood

Realizing suddenly what I’ve become

Laughing at the tainted, pathetic, brutal whore I am

I draw my fourth,

fifth,

sixth,

seventh,

eighth,

ninth,

and damned tenth tiger stripes
