Sorrows Deep

Deep inside his heart
Lies a picture of you
The image of your face
Pale and cold, but lovely
Breaking his young heart
With your closed eyes

See him now
He weeps for you
Silent and in solitude
Hidden, deep sorrow

Deep inside his mind
Echoes the vestige of your voice
The voice of comfort and love
Sweet and soft, but a whisper
You break his heart
With your silent lips

Speak to him now
He waits for you
Respectful and enduring
Hidden, deep sorrow

Deep inside his heart
Lies a picture of you
You loved him dearly
But never had a chance
To embrace him in strength
With your weakened arms

Hold him now
He cries for you
Buried deep and forgotten
Hidden, deep sorrow
