Run. That's all she knew. She just needed to run. There was something after her, something dangerous and evil. Nothing bothers her. Not the stabbing pain in her side, not the sharp rocks that cut through the soft flesh of her bare feet, nor the eerie woods in the darkness of the night. There was one problem: she had fallen. She scrambled to get up again, but the slippery mud runs through her fingers and she falls again. She felt the evil presence upon her. She turned around swiftly, but found nothing there. She permitted herself to a small sigh, then turned back around to find a pair of demented red eyes starring straight at her. She opened her mouth to scream, but darkness had overtaken her.
