Hospitals

Vanyalli

Hospitals - the bearer of death

The smell of slowly dieing bodies

Haunts all of my senses

The smell of chemicals

makes my nose wrinkle

I retaliate with disgust

I see the sick people

lieing on their death beds

whispering their last words

The nurses and doctors know

There is nothing they can do

The pale walls - color of vomit

Hurts my eyes

To the point where I can't look

At anything but my feet

I can taste the death

of the young and old

slithering around my tongue

It's saturated in the air

I hear the medical terms

They're bouncing off the walls

echoing through the hallways

The beeping comes from the monitors

What they tell - I do not know

I can feel the emmense saddness

seeping through the ground

The families can't do anything

to help the ones they love

This is why people

do not like hospitals

they bring death to loved ones

and sickness to others

But what I have learned

is that there is no way

to get out of a hospital
