I've finally let you go
I've burned it all away
That was my last call to you.
The last eight months of my life
Were eroded away by the fire
The flames licked the edges
And it slowly turned to ashes
You weren't my first
But you feel like my last.

My heart can only take so much break
before I don't want to hear your voice.

The last time you saw me
There was hope in my eyes
Now I know nothing but pain.

You've lied so many time
That I have finally lost count.
I don't want to be led on
By a self-righteous jerk
Who only loves to be loved.

So I've let go into the wind
And I'll go wherever it takes me.
