About my Stories: The IfInThes:
All of the IfInThes can be read separately from each other and in any order. Of course, I recommend reading them all.
If In the Beginning: First chronologically. Sirius and Remus when they're in their sixth year and their feelings for each other are getting too intense to bear. For those who hate the ending of this one, it is not the final end, only the end of this particular story.
If In The Past: Complete. Sirius's unsent Azkaban letters to Remus. Fills you in on the years between If In the Beginning and Sirius's inprisonment.
If in the Future: In progress. The summer after Harry's fourth year, Sirius shows up at Remus's house. They finally get over all their hang-ups and become lovers. This one is very sweet and romantic...and Sirius gets the flying motorcycle back!
If In the End: Complete. Harry comes to visit Sirius and Remus, starts getting used to their relationship, and all three are thinking about what will happen if Voldemort wins.
If In The Heavens: In progress. After returning Harry to Hogwarts, Sirius and Remus stare up at the night sky and contemplate their relationship.

The Real Story of Harry Potter: Madcap parody, not at all connected to the IfInThes. Slashy, irreverant, random, and answers a few things we've all been wondering, such as why Dumbledore likes lemon drops and what the Dememtors wear under their robes.

What I Think About Various HP Slash Pairings

RL/SB: Adorable. I'm bloody obsessed. Those two are like two halves of one person that complete each other.

SS/SB: I only like this if A) it takes place when they're still in school and B)Sirius ends up with Remus in the end.

HP/SB: Gross! He's as old as Harry's DAD! Disgusting.

HP/RL: See above.

HP/SS: This is gross, unlikely, and altogether disturbing.

HP/DM: If it's well written and explains how Draco stops being a prick and becomes a normal person, I like these okay.

PW/OW: These can be very cute.

Twincest: The grossest of all. Don't even get me started.

HG/GW: Unlikely but sometimes sweet.

FD/CC: Possible. I'd have to judge each indiviual fic.

RH/anyone: No.

AD/anyone: No.

HP/DD: Almost as bad as Twincest.

On Lord Of The Rings slash: There seem to be two camps concerning the nature of Frodo and Sam's relationship: "Frodo and Sam have a pure and innocent love for each other" and "Frodo and Sam are lovers." As if the two have to be separate. Here's my opinion: It's highly open to interpretation. Seeing as, as far as I know, Tolkien never directly said, none of us can know for sure. If, however, Frodo and Sam were lovers, I'd sure like to know why Sam (spoiler warning) married Roise. This could be quite an interesting topic for fanfics.

LOTR slash pairings I can't stand: Aragorn/anyone (yeah right), and Gandalf/anyone (I'm SO sure). Here I would like to make one comment: There seem to be a lot of Aragorn/Legolas fics, but hardly any Legolas/Gimil ones, which seems more likely because they're a lot more close emotionally. I suspect this is because people find it more erotic to write about two gorgeous men having sex and less erotic to write about short little bearded guys. Poor Gimli. Oh, and I think one of Peter Jackson's rare flaws in LOTR was making him comic relief.
